Self-Sabotage isn't working anymore

What is one way I self sabotage myself? What would it create in the world if I acknowledged my greatness?

This card is similar to the one we worked on yesterday. The end of this card addresses what you are creating in the world, however this card addresses the route cause that usually stops us. Self sabotage. Many times I have been handed a goal that I was striving for, and the minute I get what I asked for, I freak out "oh just hold on! I can't have that! Waaaaait a minute here!" It's always one thing to "wish upon a star", it's a totally different subject when we get what we asked for. That's where the real work begins.

When you're handed the job you always wanted thoughts surface, "what if I can't do it? What if I'm not good enough? What if I disappoint someone?" What if the other shoe drops and you shift from your comfort zone and your dream crumbles in front of your face? So often we're more tempted to stay in our comfort zone and continue to wish on the star. Sometimes we get crafty and pull in reasons such as "it's not the right time" or "it was God's will" that I not take that opportunity, when really we're scared shitless.

We're asking and receiving here. That's the way this game goes. The object is to build our dreams and create a better life. When you get the job offer, TAKE IT! Figure the rest out later. When you get the girl or the guy you were looking for, STOP PUSHING THEM AWAY! If they turn out to be not what you're looking for in the end, (newsflash, you can get another job or mate.) But we are creating more here and you have to put one foot in front of the other and step forward.

So what does it create in the world if you acknowledge your greatness? If you take that job, chances are you will show up pretty happy and motivated to master it. It will increase your self esteem, and that will increase your capacity to give to another person, whether it be a smile, a helping hand or the skills you have acquired. Have you ever been waited on by someone who hates their job? What did that create in your world? Mmm hmm. What's it creating in their world? It pays the bills and not much more. What about the hottie that shows up that you were asking for? Well, you get to experience another human being that has the capacity to affect you in a way no one else can. Our biggest growth is through relationships. It's powerful. And the happiness that it can contribute to your life can be immeasurable. We meet different types of people through relationship, we affect others lives through relationship. We grow from others and they grow from us. We grow from our mate's strengths and they grow from ours. It contributes to the world as a collective. People that love you like to see you happy. It makes them happy.

So what is something you're doing that stops your greatness, your potential, what your heart wants, or what is going to make you smile at the end of the day?

“No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well...maybe chalk it up to forced consciousness expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.”

– Hunter S. Thompson

The world is waiting for you out there. It's patience is growing thin right now.

Have an amazing day my magical creators,

Janie
